Traveling is never easy. It's a hurry up and wait type of day. But I love the Ferries; the hustle and bustle of getting on board and then settling in and of course the wind on your face watching the island pass by. Although we are excited about our next adventure, it is always sad to say Good-Bye to the peacefulness of the island.
Clifford is enjoying his morning fresh squeezed orange juice while waiting for the ferry. Once it arrives we will need to move fast as it is about at 5 minute turnaround and off to the sea again. Before we have even reached our seats we are on our way.
He has brought us much joy as the little kids love to see him. Someone said "is that for your grandchild" and I said "No, He's mine. That always brings a smile.
At the end of the day we were settled in at the AVRA Hotel in Rafina overlooking the Aegean Sea. So the traveling woes were worth it.
