Good Morning Sunshine

There are not many do-overs in life, but there are fresh starts. Some are chosen and filled with great excitement while others are just another step in the path the Lord has laid in front of us. Some have said that doing the Will of God is just doing the next thing.

Although this blog is really for me, I trust as I move through transition into Chapter Four of my life, you will ride this roller-coaster with me as a friend and companion and hopefully, we will all grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Good-Bye to Istanbul


Before we leave Istanbul we visited the Grand Bazaar. It's full of so many shops it is almost overwhelming. But we were able to get a cotton shirt for Rich and a Turkish table runner for me.




One last thing we needed to do before we leave Istanbul - Rich got his traditional hair cut. When we were in Greece/Turkey he got his hair cut in Selcuk, Turkey. This was the first of many foreign haircuts. So I thought I would post his first haircut from 2005 and now the last one for 2025. 


      

Our next stop will be the Peloponnese
