After a few weeks of rest from the busyness of tax season, I'm finally beginning to unwind and relax. We have been able to finalize SOME of our plans and at least have a broad plan in place. We are now packed and ready to go. Waiting until it is TIME to go is the hardest part. Even POOH is anxious to get started. In his first chapter of "A Walk in the Wood" POOH says:
Just two things to do,
To truly be POOH.
The first thing is to be in the here and now as much as possible (without a whole lot of thinking). In other words, "Do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things."
Matt 6:34.
And the second thing is to be as kind as possible to everyone, including himself. In other words, "Pleasant word are like a honeycomb, Sweetness to the soul and health to the bones."
Proverbes 16:24
First stop is Winchester, VA. We took the red eye and arrived at 7:05 am. As most of you know, our oldest son, Jason, wife Sara and daughter Maggie are a part of this community and it just happens to be Apple Blossom Festival Weekend. Maggie will be singing in the Chorus so we will definitely be in the audience this afternoon. What a beautiful girl with a beautiful smile.
