Good Morning Sunshine

There are not many do-overs in life, but there are fresh starts. Some are chosen and filled with great excitement while others are just another step in the path the Lord has laid in front of us. Some have said that doing the Will of God is just doing the next thing.

Although this blog is really for me, I trust as I move through transition into Chapter Four of my life, you will ride this roller-coaster with me as a friend and companion and hopefully, we will all grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Jason and his family sent me off with a Mothers Day present, but since Snoopy didn't fit in the bags we decided to let Maggie bring him to AZ once we return.

Then we headed through West VA and then on to PA to visit some dear friends. We had met in Rochester when our kids had become friends and it's been a close relationship ever since. First and foremost is that we share the same birthday. We had a tendency to take life too seriously and they taught us how to laugh. Nancy has had some struggles with cancer over the years and before we got to their place we were notified that she was in the hospital. It was wonderful to be able to visit with them again, even if it was from a hospital room and share how the Lord has blessed us and to catch up with all the details of life.

Then, being in PA we decided to find the closest WaWa. While in NJ we had always enjoyed coffee at WaWa; every joy, sorrow, excitement, etc met with "let's get a WaWa. This is one of the joy of living on the east coast that I miss.

So, since our PA plans were altered, we are headed to NY as we will "wander as we please" getting there a day early. However, we have lots of memories there and friends to see, so we will not be bored.
The Lilas Festival is on and it's a beautiful time of year.
