Chapter Four

Our choices are seldom simple or straightforward; right or wrong; yes or no. They are more often complex and conflictive and intertwined with the decisions made by others. (Quote from the book: If I Had It To Do It Over, I Would Pick More Daisies)

My Journey
Who am I? That's an interesting question. As a young girl I used to sit at the table and think "Who am I?" Now at age 56, I'm still asking the same question. Here are some facts. I grew up in Michigan and married my high school sweetheart. Together we have traveled through several stages of life, raising three children and now have 7 grandchildren. I'm often introduced as "my pastor's wife," but really I'm just Lynette. Many have said that I'm not a typical pastor's wife. But what is that anyway? I can only say I am who God made me to be and I trust I will be faithful in using those unique gifts, skills and personality to further his kingdom. Hop on board. I think this year will be one worth remembering.
