Good Morning Sunshine

There are not many do-overs in life, but there are fresh starts. Some are chosen and filled with great excitement while others are just another step in the path the Lord has laid in front of us. Some have said that doing the Will of God is just doing the next thing.

Although this blog is really for me, I trust as I move through transition into Chapter Four of my life, you will ride this roller-coaster with me as a friend and companion and hopefully, we will all grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Day Seven

We were picked up at 10 a.m. and headed to the Good News Church. We had a wonderful time worshiping with believers living in Greece. Rich, the baby whisperer, found a baby to hold. If you haven't had the opportunity to visit with believers from another country, it should be on your bucket list. I was another High-Light of our trip.

By 1 p.m. we were back at the airport. Rich had the foresight to add Fast Track to our tickets so we were able to sit in the Sky Express lounge and have free food as we waiting for our departure. Fotis and Mary met us there and we flew a short  45 minutes to the Island of Naxos.

Naxos is the central and largest island in the Cyclades. For me, it was so refreshing to get back to to where my heart beats a little slower. Everything we saw so far was great, but for me, I prefer the islands.

We are staying at the Naxos Beach Resort Hotel. It is one of the nicest places on this island about 1 mile from the Old City. We had a restful night and Fotis picked us up with a bus to show us "his" island.

A few of us stayed behind for various reasons, but for me  . . . I just need a day to myself to regroup. I hope Rich takes lots of pictures for me to share in the next post.
