Wednesday, Sept. 26. Today began at 6:45 a.m. when we met our taxi to take us to the port for our trip to Santorini. I love ferries but the 3 hour trip was a little long. At the dock in Santorini, we were met by tour bus which took us to a few key villages at the rim of the Santorini calder. After wandering the walkways, we returned to the ferry for the trip back. Santorini is a beautiful island, however, it has become a tourist mecca with cruise ships disgorging thousands daily. The quaint streets are now crowded. However, if this is the first and only time in Greece it was good to take it in and at least say "I was on Santorini."
Mostly, we sat and enjoyed the scenery and ate wonderful Greek Food.
We didn't take too many picture so I think I will include some general pictures from the last few days.
